Zürich Openair places electronic artists beside pop, hip-hop and rock acts. That mix lets a day move from focused DJ sets to broader live shows without splitting the festival into separate identities.

A return is being prepared

The festival paused in 2026 while its organisers worked on a new version of the event. The official site says Zürich Openair plans to return in 2027 with an expanded visitor experience.
