DJVibe is an electronic music culture website. We publish news, features, videos, photo galleries, and DJ tutorials. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

Information we collect

• Server logs. Like nearly all websites, our web server automatically records standard technical information about visits: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use this only to operate, secure, and debug the site.
• Contact messages. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive what you send (your address and message) and use it only to reply.
• Cookies. The site itself sets only cookies necessary for basic operation. Embedded third-party content (see below) may set its own cookies.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that host and operate the site.

YouTube API Services

DJVibe uses YouTube API Services to display public videos and playlists from our own YouTube channel on this website. By using pages that include this content, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

• We only read public video metadata (titles, thumbnails, descriptions, view counts) from our own channel.
• We do not access, collect, or store any YouTube user data, and we do not request authorization to any visitor's Google or YouTube account.
• Video playback happens in YouTube's embedded player, which is operated by Google and may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Because we store no YouTube user data, there is no stored YouTube user data for us to delete; you can manage data Google holds about you via Google security settings.

Embedded content and links

Articles and pages may embed content from other platforms (YouTube, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Facebook, Instagram, X). Interacting with embedded content is equivalent to visiting that platform, and its own privacy policy applies. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their practices.

Data retention

Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations, then deleted or rotated. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry.

Your rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law (such as PIPEDA, GDPR, or CCPA), and we will honour applicable requests.

Children

The site is a general-audience publication and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
