Eighteen years in Victoria

Rifflandia grew into a September fixture by bringing international headliners, local artists and creative experiences into one multi-day city festival. Its identity belonged to Victoria as much as to any single lineup, creating a recurring weekend where different generations and scenes could cross paths.

The festival has closed

In June 2026, the founders announced that Rifflandia Festival would permanently cease operations after 18 years. That ending is part of the record and should not be softened into a hiatus or an upcoming edition. The organization continues with projects in music, art, film, sport and live entertainment, but the Victoria festival itself is now a completed chapter.
