House, techno and community

Desert Hearts began as an intimate gathering in the Mojave Desert and developed into a wider movement of artists, labels and events. Its festival identity rested on long-form house and techno, closeness between the crowd and performers, and the repeated idea of music, love and family.

Current status

The 2026 festival edition is recorded as cancelled, and the festival brand is inactive. Desert Hearts itself continues through its crew, tour dates and record labels, but this profile does not treat those activities as proof of a current full festival.
