A Summer Story does not lock itself to one branch of electronic music. EDM, house, techno and trance share the programme, giving the weekend a wide-angle view of large-scale dance culture.
Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey provides the festival site outside central Madrid. The open grounds suit a multi-stage event and make the gathering feel like a destination even for visitors based in the city.
A concentrated weekend
The completed 2026 edition ran on June 19 and 20. Two days keep the format direct: arrive for a full electronic programme, move between distinct sounds and leave without the longer commitment of a camping week.
That compact scale is part of the appeal. A Summer Story can place crowd-facing EDM beside harder or more focused club music while keeping the whole event easy to read.
