For a while I have been hearing about the "Kootenay Vibe" and I didn't quite know what to expect of it. But I can honestly say that it is everything that people say it is. The vibe was tight as hell!

It was seriously refreshing to go to a party where everyone is into the music and out on the dance floor. I have been to too many Plaza parties where you get alot of people standing around all night. There were some crazy breakers going off all night, which luckily I managed to get some pictures of.

The DJ's and the music were awsome. Dova had a really good set with some kick-ass tracks like the breaks remix of The Nightfly. Cinto had the crowd going nuts, and without a doubt he was the favorite. He played some awsome tracks, with a good mix of breaks and hard house. I personally like the harder music so I was loving every minute of his set. He's definately got some skills. They had a stage downstairs that was playing some different stuff, like speed garage.

Sumthin Phat was one of the best parties I have been to in a long time, and I go to alot of the big Vancouver raves. When it comes right down to it, the only thing that matters is the music and the people. Size aint nothin, without the vibe!

Sumthin' Phat was a great time. Every was there to have fun and it showed. The music was just as good as any Vancouver rave I have been to, and the vibe was better than alot of them. Keep it up Vertigo!
