SCIENCE OF DEFIANCE is an Electro Producer and Live PA performer, JOSH ZAWADUK.
Zawaduk Djs original tracks while playing live guitars and synthesizers. The music can be described loosely as Electro, influenced by Rock, Indie, Jazz & Funk
.
With an extensive history in the music industry, he began writing music for Theatre in High School and playing in local bands at
the age of 16. After graduation he moved to the Czech Republic for 2 years composing music for a Prague theater troop.
After the short stint in Europe he returned to North America to begin many years of touring road-warrior style, performing in such groups as JIMMYJACK (SF, CA) The HELL & BACKS (BC,CAN), STARK RAVING CHANDLER(Atlanta, GA), DAN BERN (L.A. CA),from coast to coast of the U.S.A and Canada.
More recently, SCIENCE OF DEFIANCE has shared the stage with
HOT PINK DELOREAN, UDACHI, JESSE & CRABBE(FR), MYAGI, LWSD, MAT THE ALIEN, KILLABITS, KYTAMI, NEIGHBOUR, THE FUNK HUNTERS, BLVD and many others.
ZAWADUK is also the founder of the independent label/production company CAZ productions and Stage Director of The ROCK PIT stage at the Shambhala Music Festival (over 12,000 attendees) in Salmo, BC. He is responsible for booking cutting edge talent, djs, bands, fashion shows, dancers and burlesque troops. Dedicated and diverse, The music of SCIENCE OF DEFIANCE continues to push the boundaries of Electronic Dance Music.
