Ultra at Flemington

Ultra Australia is built for a concentrated festival day: large stages, major electronic bookings and the production language shared across the Ultra Worldwide network. Its Melbourne home at Flemington Racecourse gives that format the room to operate without losing the directness of a single-day event.

A global format with a local stop

The 2026 return is the festival's seventh instalment and takes place on April 11. The useful distinction is that this is the Melbourne festival, not the separate Ultra Beach Gold Coast event that follows it. Ultra Australia stands on its own as the city's large-scale entry in the network, with several programmed stages carrying different edges of contemporary dance music.
