Hard music in an unlikely place

Shutdown takes place at the Zwentendorf Nuclear Power Plant, a facility that was built but never commissioned. The industrial setting gives the one-day festival a visual identity that is difficult to separate from the music.

Five stages, 12 hours

Around 60 artists play across five stages, moving through hardstyle, hardcore, Frenchcore and uptempo. The 2027 edition is scheduled for August 7.
