A season, not a single weekend

Piknic Électronik Montréal runs as a recurring outdoor series rather than a conventional once-a-year festival. The 2026 season stretches from May 17 to October 18 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, giving listeners repeated chances to meet on a daytime dancefloor close to downtown.

Electronic music in a social setting

Piknic was built to make electronic music feel open, social and accessible outside nightlife. Its regular Piknic dates and larger OfF Piknic shows can carry different scales, but the friendly park setting connects them. After more than 15 years, that repeated Sunday rhythm is the core identity: Montreal does not visit Piknic for one weekend; Piknic becomes part of Montreal's summer calendar.
