Lyon becomes the festival site

Nuits Sonores works across several venues rather than reducing the event to one fenced field. Day, night, laboratory and open-air programmes let different parts of the city host their own pace and atmosphere.

Live sets beside DJ culture

The programme moves between live electronic performance, DJ sets and experimental club sounds. The 2026 edition ran for five days and four nights, and the festival returns for a 24th edition in May 2027.
