MUTEK Montréal is built around electronic music, audiovisual performance and digital creativity. The programme favours live work and experiments where the image is not just a backdrop, giving artists room to shape sound, light and space together.

The festival moves through indoor and outdoor venues in the Quartier des spectacles rather than relying on one field. Its different programme series change the level of intensity from room to room. That makes MUTEK useful for both deep listening and the floor, with the route through central Montréal joining those modes into one festival.
