Dancing outside in January

Igloofest has brought electronic music into Montreal's Old Port since 2007. Its steel structures, architectural lighting and open-sky dancefloors turn winter into the visual language of the event. The cold is not hidden; it shapes how the crowd dresses, moves and remembers the night.

Four weekends of electronic music

The 2026 Montreal edition ran from January 15 to February 7 at Quai Jacques-Cartier. Local and international artists fill a wide electronic programme, while the Igloovillage and snowsuit contest keep the festival playful. Igloofest works because it is specific to place and season, not an indoor club bill temporarily moved outside.
