Electronic music at Screaming Heads

Harvest takes place at Midlothian Castle and its outdoor Screaming Heads sculptures near Burk's Falls. The unusual landscape is not set dressing. Forest, water, rolling ground, fire and large-scale art give the dancefloors a sense of place that a standard festival field cannot reproduce.

A seasonal ritual

The 2026 gathering runs September 11 to 14, with camping included in the four-day experience. House, techno, bass and ambient DJs share the programme with circus and multimedia artists. Harvest has brought friends and extended communities together since 1998, and the timing near the end of summer gives that reunion its emotional centre: music after dark, fireside conversation and one last long outdoor weekend.
