One night under the canopy
Day Zero treats its Tulum setting as the starting point rather than a backdrop. House and techno selectors play within a wider environment of fire, light, performance and movement, creating a temporary world that only has to hold together until sunrise.
The ending matters
The long arc from night into first light gives the event its clearest shape. Sets can build patiently because the gathering is not trying to behave like a daytime multi-stage festival. When the jungle reappears at dawn, the setting closes the story as much as the final record.
