Calgary in full festival mode

Chasing Summer is designed around the scale and clarity of a two-day outdoor electronic festival. The 2026 edition took over the Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds on August 1 and 2, giving Calgary a city-based dance event with enough room for several programmed stages.

Different currents of dance music

A multi-stage layout lets the festival move between main-stage names and more focused electronic sounds without breaking the weekend into separate events. The format stays straightforward: arrive in the afternoon, move between stages and finish each night before the site becomes an overnight camp. Chasing Summer is at its best as a concentrated urban celebration of the season rather than a retreat from it.
