A Brabant Sunday in the woods
7th Sunday packs a full festival into one day at Festivalterrein De Roost, the wooded site outside Erp. Gates open in the early afternoon and the music runs until one in the morning, so the day moves from sunlit tree-lined paths to a mainstage built for fire and lights after dark.
Many stages, many scenes
The programme does not settle on one sound. House and techno sit alongside hardstyle and crossover acts, spread across a run of themed stages. That mix gives the day its character: a crowd can drift from a warehouse-style tent to an open-air main stage without leaving the site.
Rooted in the region
The festival leans on its Brabant identity and works with local suppliers and entrepreneurs. Its sustainability plan targets the practical end of a big outdoor event: a circular cup system, a cleaner power setup with fewer diesel generators, and shuttles, coaches and bikes in place of car traffic. Entry is 18 and over, and the site runs on tokens rather than cash at the bar.
