Kryder

Kryder is one of British house music’s great constants. Chris Knight bought his first vinyl in 1991 with market-stall wages in North London — DJing at eleven, producing at fifteen, a Gatecrasher resident by the time UK club culture peaked. His first solo record as Kryder, “K2,” handed personally to Judge Jules, ran six straight weeks on BBC Radio 1 with support from Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac — until Tiësto signed it to Musical Freedom and a UK resident became an international artist. Since then: ten Tomorrowlands, an Essential Mix, 200+ releases, and the Tom Staar & Kryder remix of “Don’t You Worry Child,” past 120 million streams. In 2026 he stepped off the road to support his partner, Spanish DJ B Jones, through cancer treatment and recovery — while delivering his most prolific studio year yet: sixteen records in seven months, led by “Eivissa” (Size) at #1 on the 1001Tracklists overall chart.
