Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Dave Seaman and X-Press 2 aren't just good at making us dance, they're also good at raising money for charities.
These DJs, among many others, are all part of World DJ Fund. Each year the World DJ Fund has a full week of fundraising which cumulates in World DJ Day. This year the global fundraising week will run from April 19 - 26. Last year the fund raised 400,000 in the UK alone. The proceeds went to the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy (in the UK) and several international children's charities. The funds are created by the DJs pledging one night's fee for the World DJ Fund. Clubs, promoters, record labels, and other members of the dance community will also be contributing.
