The Rhythm Institute is a brand new DJ Instruction and Digital Music Production training facility in Vancouver BC.
When I first stepped into the new space for The Rythym Institute next to Beatstreet records on opening night, I was amazed at what a cool artistic environment they had goin on. It is all white with some really cool DJ themed paintings on the walls. Fully equipped with multiple DJ studios for playing and recording your sets and also production studios for producing music as well. I had a really good time with and live DJs and MCs playing all night.. and I gotta give props to DJ Leanne and David St.Helene for the complimentary beverages..
From equipment basics through to advanced turntablist techniques, The Rhythm Institute offers a wide variety of opportunities to promote growth and improvement for every level of DJ. By profiling the student, TRI effectively matches the right instructor to the students style and instructional needs. Students will complete their courses with the skills and knowledge to spin the music they love and gain a strong foundation for future learning.
Digital Music Production encompasses the making of urban and modern dance music. Training will commence in early 2006. The program encourages individualism and combines the fundamentals of electronic music production with practical experimentation and personal creativity. Students will benefit from industry leading instructors and the latest hardware & software, all housed in state-of-the-art classrooms and studios.
The new location will also serve as the home of TRIs Event Solutions Channel, offering premier DJ services for any scale of event. The Solutions Channel works closely with the client to evaluate their specific needs and style, accommodating all requests through a wide variety of musical genres. Total event solutions are provided, with top club and celebrity DJs, highest quality equipment, and hands on coordination of the audio set up and take down.
