AFTER RELEASE OF AOKI REMIX
 In a lethal blend of alternative and electronic elements, Blink-182 calls on none other than Dim Mak boss STEVE AOKI to release an official remix of their #1 single “Bored To Death” from their new album California. Now available on a vibrant limited edition 12″ picture disc, the track features AOKI, whose musical roots emanate from punk rock (as seen in the current Netflix Originals documentary I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead), warping the band’s distinctive guitar plucks before unleashing a gritty bass-fueled trap drop.
Says Rolling Stone who premiered the video earlier this week, “The new version finds Aoki inserting a huge, head-spinning EDM groove after the song’s anthemic chorus. The track’s video cuts between portions of the original “Bored to Death” clip – which blends narrative scenes of high-school life with footage of Blink-182 performing in an intimate club – with shots of Aoki onstage in front of a huge festival crowd.”
After the release of STEVE AOKI’s remix of the Blink 182 single, “Bored to Death”has now returned to #1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 Chart.
