How does RC do it? Such. A. Great. DJ. His mixing, its like, so good its retarded. Its incomprehensible at times (like Track seven into eight and Track nine into ten). Hes like Kylie Minogues stylist or Gordon Martin or Bjork throwing components together that youd so bet your life could never work but then it turns out its the best thing youve experienced EVER.

And its not just that he can mix one track into another but he makes a totally cohesive CD, with definite body. Under the Radar climbs a bit then it plateaus and then it gets stronger and then it rocks out and then WATCH OUT BITCH! its all about the electro and neo-disco that youll wish you werent making dinner but out at the club shaking it to the strobe.

But its also that he can mix one track into another. He does much more than just beat match. Sometimes he starts mixing before theres even a hint of a beat but he toys with those ethereal treats that usually get lost in the shuffle and the effect is breathtaking.

And then theres track selection. Youve got to like electro to really appreciate this CD (but even if you dont youll have to commend RC for picking these random seventeen tracks and making a perfect disc). Its very electro-house and its good all around but the notable would be Finding Words Aint Easy (track nine). It is the sexiest song in the world. The beat is sexy and the mans voice (talking and singing) is just too much. It could make a grown man blush.

This CD is a promotional so chances are you wont find it in stores, especially if you live outside of Vancouver. However, if you e-mail the talented Mr. Lair Iperhaps hell oblige you with a copy.
