Chandler came up in early deep house and rose through the '90s, and his playing keeps finding new listeners now. Moodymann brings Detroit and Mahogani Music. Loco Dice works the long end of house and techno, the marathon sets regulars plan a whole night around. Andy C has been flying the UK drum-and-bass flag since the early '90s.
Ministry of Sound director Matt Long says the lineup "reflects both our heritage and where our sound is today." Promoters say things like that. The fourth name is what makes it hold.
Drum and bass never left this island
Drum and bass is having a resurgence in the United States, as EDM Identity notes, but in Britain it never fell out of fashion. Booking Andy C in 2026 is not a retro gesture. It is booking a sound that has run continuously in UK clubs for the entire time Ministry has been open. Chandler's deep house and Loco Dice's long sets sit in the room the same way.
DJVibe followed this room's route from underground pioneer to global brand last year. At 35 the programming still has to work on a dancefloor at 1am.
