Summer may be over in some places but not in sunny Santa Barbara. Today (September 18), electronic music artist SEVEN LIONS heralds in the weekend with the lyric video for his newest single “Falling Away” featuring Canadian pop sensation LIGHTS. To complement the track–out now on Casablanca Records–the central California coast-based producer has created a video experience depicting the laid-back beach vibes of his hometown. From a leisurely ride on a seaside bike path to champagne toasts with friends on the beach at sunset, get an inside look at the life of SEVEN LIONS aka Jeff Montalvo when he’s not in the studio making music or smashing crowds on tour.
“This video I wanted to show a bit of what our summer has been like living in Santa Barbara. I’m not a very good social media person and I generally keep my personal life to myself so I thought this would be a good way to show a little more of what my life off the road is like on a good day, “ says SEVEN LIONS. “Many SB locals will recognize these locations–Mesa Lane, Lizards Mouth and so on.”
“Falling Away” is the first of several singles SEVEN LIONS will release in the coming months leading up to a brand new EP on Casablanca later this fall/winter.
