ERIC HUTCHINSION is known for his unforgettable presence, high-energy singalongs, and live musicality. This run promises to be no exception as the artist supports his fifth full-length album, MODERN HAPPINESS. To introduce the record, which encompasses rock, pop and rootsy stylings in a collection of songs that are deeply personal, he opted for an unconventional and forward-thinking rollout. Over the course of 2018, he’ll drop one track per month at DSPs through October 5 when the final song arrives and tour is underway.

Igniting this phase, HUTCHINSON has released a pair of singles thus far. The first, “miracle worker,” builds from gorgeous piano and delicate acoustic guitar into a heavenly assurance, “I’m just working on a miracle tonight / cause it’s a miracle when everything feels good.” Meanwhile, a wailing guitar lead punctuates the down-home stomp of follow-up “new religion”–which sharply underscores bright tones with incisive lyrics. On June 8, he shares the next offering, “i’ll always be the one who makes you cry.

Stay tuned for more singles to be released as MODERN HAPPINESS takes shape right before listeners’ eyes and ears.

Expanding the experience, each song has been accompanied by behind-the-scenes vignettes, live video chats, in-depth podcast interviews, and more, bringing audiences closer than ever. All content is available through his members-only project-The E-Hutch Club-via his website.
Once again, HUTCHINSON returned behind the board as producer. Simultaneously, he drew a spotlight on the talents of his band THE BELIEVERS–Elliott Blaufuss (Guitars, Keys & Vocals), the rhythm section of Ian Allison (Bass & Vocals) and Bryan Taylor (Drums, Percussion & Vocals)–and guest vocalist Jessie Payo. Together, they build an unpredictable sonic backdrop for the vocalist to deliver one provocative, passionate, and powerful tune after another. It’s his most immersive and irresistible body of work yet.

Get ready to experience MODERN HAPPINESS and HUTCHINSON like never before in 2018.
