While the identity of the artist remains unknown, one thing for certain about Deathpact is the project’s substantial output and diverse sound. The producer returns today (October 19) with another single “End of Time” on AWAL/Kobalt. Following the success of the debut EP Cipher One, and previous single “Formality,” Deathpact continues to produce track after track of unique and sinister dance music.
“End of Time” starts with the use of ambient noises such as clocks and otherworldly sounds. You can hear a distorted voice murmuring the words “until the end of time.” This alluring sample usage is a recurring theme in Deathpact‘s music. The track has a strong build-up leading to a heavy drop lead by growling synth leads.
Collectively Deathpact‘s compelling tracks have gained over 272,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and has appeared on the influential Fresh Electronic & Dance Rising playlists, as well as Apple Music’s Heavy Hitters playlist. With the release of new music such as “Formality” and “End of Time,” Deathpact can be seen on the cover of Spotify’s Dance Rising. The Deathpact name first popped up from a heavy collaboration with REZZ. “Life & Death,” acollaboration which has served as the fan favorite on her new album Certain Kind of Magic, electrifying her festival sets around the world. Since then, Deathpact‘s rise has been fueled by the hard-hitting singles “Danger,” “First Interference” and “Piston” which all appeared on the Cipher One EP
