The results are in for the 4th annual international breakbeat awards that took place at Fabric, in London, on Thursday 24th February. The public decided who the best breakbeat acts and DJs were by voting on the breakspoll website.

Best Album - Evil Nine - You can be special too
Best Magazine - MOFO
Best Radio - Breaks FM
Best Club / Event - Spectrum

BBC Radio 1 Grass Roots Award - Biff Mitchell
Radio 1 also scheduled a host of breakbeat music into its weekend programming, starting with a live broadcast from the Breakspoll event at Fabric, London. Rennie Pilgrim & Blim played live on air from 1-2am on Thursday 24th February, followed by a set from the Plump DJs vs Stanton Warriors.
Then on Friday 25th February, Pete Tongs Essential Selection featured a guest mix from the Plumps, and the following days Essential Mix was from Krafty Kuts, his set recorded from the Breakspoll event. Fergies show also featured some breakbeat action with a set from Meat Katie vs Elite Force.
