'Supporting a Brand New Artist Generation'
Traditionally Sneakerz MUZIK releases an album featuring today's hottest tracks compiled by artists to keep an eye on for the future, towards the end of summer. The seventh edition in this Sneakerz series is a blend of jackin' house full of fresh vocals and 'blow the roof' highs; a worthy final addition to the crammed outdoor festival season. The fact that the artist who compiled this album, Bart B More and Bingo Players, know each other through and through and thus smoothly compliment and anticipate on one another is very audible. The resulting album called 'Supporting a brand new artist generation' is now available via the Web shop on www.sneakerz.nl and www.sneakerzmuzik.nl, and in Dutch record stores.
Bart B More & Bingo Players
After Sneakerz signing the young producers/dj's to their label Sneakerz MUZIK, the names of Bart B More (Bart van der Meer) and Bingo Players (aka Paul Baumer en Maarten Hoogstraaten) are on the rise even more than before in the house scene. They have been friends for a while now and credit has to be extended to Laidback Luke's platform, which brings together young producing talent, where they actually met and as a result haven't gone unnoticed since. Bart's tracks are being played by big names such as Steve Angello, David Guetta, Marco V and Erick E and when Pete Tong announces your track as 'Essential tune of the week' on BBC's Radio One you are going to stand out from the crowd, to say the least. Bart is also front man of the international festival concept called 'Go Dutch!' and has successfully released a string of releases on his own label Secure Recordings. Together with house fanatics Chocolate Puma, the Bingo Players are responsible for the club favourite 'Touch Me', which was also notably remixed by Bart B More and features on the album; only one of the many reasons for adding this to your house music collection.
'Supporting a Brand New Artist Generation' in a nutshell
An international sound definitely rings through on this album. Portuguese producer MastikSoul adds a techy Latin flavour to 'Feelin' 4 U' (by DJ Chus & Peter Gelderblom). New York house is transformed into its counterpart from Chicago in 'Chains and Ice' - Johnny Fiasco Mix by Jake Childs feat. Jamon 'Chains, while British rap and vocals from New York are married by the Dutchies from Chocolate Puma in 'In Da Club' by Copyright feat. Mr. V & Miss Patty. One of this summer's revelations is a result of Laidback Luke's request to remix the track from the Aussies from TV Rock called 'Been a long time', played by wide range of artist, ranging from Eric Morillo to Groovenatics. The early days of house ring through in '88', an old-school tech-house track by Dave Spoon, borrowed from the Toolroom label. Also eagerly borrowed from the Defected label, is the uplifting I-just-can't-control-my-feet summer-groove track 'Praise To The JB's' by ATFC.
Goes without saying, there are a lot of Dutch productions on the album too. On Beatport a mega hit, the fresh tech-house track 'Continuate' by Roger Martinez & Funkuz has rightfully earned its spot. 'Chop' by Bingo Players created its own little 'hype' as only a lucky few were furnished with this sought after track. Next up in this mix is the latest release by Genetik & Gio Martinez called 'Pixel'. Erick E's latest release '(Wanna) Go Again' underwent the artistic scrutiny from Bingo Players and garage house classic 'It's Yours' (by John Cutler) got given an infectious electronic silver lining by Bart B More that seems to have worked out very well indeed. The absolute pinnacle of this album is formed by 'Apple' by Sander van Doorn, again a Bart B More remix, which was played by David Guetta in almost every set he played this summer, a whole lot, as you can imagine…
Today's mega hit: 'Day 'N' Nite' by Kid Cudi (Crookers Remix), rocking dance floors whenever and wherever played is followed by Bingo Players' track 'Get Up', currently receiving full support from the likes of Boyz Noize, Crookers, Riva Starr en Brodisky, has the honour of featuring as the final track of this album.
