Apollonia, the label and DJ super collective composed of Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, and Shonky, gear up for their next two North American tour dates with a stop in Chicago on January 24. This date follows an enthralling Apollonia showcase held at The BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. “The quick stateside visit, their first in 2014, comes after yet another year in which each artist ranked among RA users’ top DJs, and it follows the release of the next record on their own Apollonia imprint: Ghenacia’s ‘Ometeo’ EP, which is backed with a remix from Soundorom,” notes Resident Advisor. “Both US bookings are for extended sets, starting in Chicago on this Friday, January 24th. There, they’ll take over the decks at Spy Bar from open to close. Then on Saturday the 25th (or more precisely, early Sunday the 26th), Apollonia will hit the Terrace at Club Space in Miami, which boasts a 24-hour license, for a Strangers and Friends session.”
