Mercurio (Esteban Battilana)

Musician, guitar player, producer and responsable for Mercurio project, a live set of house music combined with live guitar.

Between 2003 and 2005, he toured Europe and his productions began to have global recognition, released by labels such as Yoshitoshi, Son, Vapour, Flow Vinyl, Nick Warren Global Underground 028.

His remixes of "Violently Happy" (Björk) and "Ultraviolet" (U2), were used around the world by Djs as Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Sasha, among others, also Paul Oakenfold used it to open the Homelands 2003 festival.

Artist of Creamfields Buenos Aires on 10 occasions, also participated in events such as the East Fest Punta del Este and Southfest.

In 2006 he toured Japan and the USA and then resided in Los Angeles.

Between 2009 and 2020 he made productions for Hernán Cattáneo released 3 times by the Renaissance and 2 times by Balance music.

Through 2009 to 2019 worked with Maxi Trusso as producer and guitarist. They participated in festivals such as Lollapalooza Argentina and Chile, Personal Fest, WeColors, opened for Jamiroquai and Franz Ferdinand, among others.

He has been also the guitar player for the Symphonic concert "Connected", created by Dj Hernan Cattaneo, playing 4 times Teatro Colon, one of the best 5 Theaters of the world.

Music producer for the best radio of Argentina Metro 95.1.

This year he has just released a new EP of 3 tracks with Hernan Cattaneo's label SUDBEAT.
